Fossati Catene firm was founded in 1918 immediately after the first world war by Enrico Fossati and his brothers in Macherio.

The production range in the beginning covered chains and other components for cycles, like inflators, pillars and so on.

Successively the range of cycle parts was increased with the production of simplex and multiple freewheels. Standard and special chains were developed for Motorcycle field, and Fratelli Fossati firm was present and gained more World Championship in different specialties i.e. Motorcycles with sidecars, Motocross, Enduro, Speedway, thanks to the result and the collaboration of many famous World champions.

Consequently to industrial development in Italy the firm Fratelli Fossati started the production of industrial chains in normal, alloy and stainless steel, reaching the most qualified position on the market, thanks to the continuous improvement of the techniques, machines and know how.
